Determine the maximum number of users who can work with compressed air simultaneously under the most extreme conditions and add up their air consumption. The result is the required compressor capacity. Capacity is expressed in m³/min*.
When choosing compressor capacity, consider the future as well. A compressor can easily last 10 years or longer. A compressed air system often consists of multiple compressors. When expanding an existing system, a combination of small and large compressors is perfectly feasible.
